Overview
Provides the proper box for the product that is schedule.
Responsibilities
Assures that packaging materials being run on the Box Former have proper identification specifically Revision and ASI numberAssures that boxes are free of vendor defectOperates Box Former to produce the correct number of quality boxes needed for production.Take count of how many cartons are scraped in their area of responsibilityLift up to 50 poundsClears jams safely and quicklyTroubleshoot machine as neededPractices good manufacturing practicesUnderstands company safety rules and safe employee practicesCommunicates effectively with maintenance personnelOther duties can be assigned
Employee Safety Responsibilities:
Report all injuries, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and horseplayUse proper lifting techniquesUse mechanical assistance (handjack, forklift, manlift)Use personal assistance (buddy)Use handrailsUse and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees. Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company. Need to comply with Food Safety: GMP'S, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF, and Quality requirements.
