Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of recruitment for our manufacturing company, leveraging ICIMS as our applicant tracking system. Your primary focus will be to source, screen, and select qualified candidates for various positions throughout our organization. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role, as you will engage with a diverse workforce and interact with candidates from different backgrounds.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.Utilize ICIMS to post job openings, manage applicant flow, and track candidates throughout the hiring process.Proactively source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and local community resources.Conduct thorough candidate screenings, including resume reviews, phone screenings, and in-person interviews, to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.Manage the interview process, coordinating schedules, and facilitating interviews between candidates and hiring teams.Conduct reference checks, employment verifications, and background screenings as required.Extend job offers to selected candidates and manage the negotiation process.Coordinate and participate in career fairs, job fairs, and other recruiting events to enhance the company's employer brand and attract top talent.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, continuously identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes and enhance candidate experience.Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports for tracking purposes.Subject to the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and Ajinomoto Food's HIPAA Privacy and Security policies and procedures, assisting the Ajinomoto Food health plan with day-to-day activities involving protected health information, including but not limited to, assisting with employee claims, coordinating benefits, determining health claim status, determining eligibility for coverage, budgeting and renewal, billing and collection activities, obtaining assistance from third-parties for plan functions, and any other duties delegated by the HIPAA Privacy or Security Officer.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plusProven experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably ICIMS.Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously.High level of attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
