• Manage Karana's supply chain from production planning and procurement through to fulfillment of customer orders
• Manage external vendors including co-manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and logistics vendors
• Plan, develop, and implement strategies for operational management to meet organizational performance plans and gross margin targets within agreed budgets and deadlines
• Develop continuous process improvement strategies to drive operational efficiencies and cost savings
• Monitor logistics of orders and work with vendors for freight utilization to minimize case delivery costs
• Ensure order fulfillment and invoicing accuracy
• Collaborate with sales to develop Demand plan.
• Maintain and Update data and transactions in Karana's ERP system.
• Manage month-end responsibilities related to inventory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or postgraduate level education
• 1-3 years' experience in the beverage, cannabis, food, or CPG industry
• Experience as the primary point of contact and manager of company suppliers, vendors, and co-packers
• Ability to manage third parties in the efficient and timely production of product to meet customer demand and maintain satisfactory inventory levels
• Strong communication skills
• Critical attention to detail and follow-up
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team, flat structure environment with the ability to get things done without the stress that can often be associated with supply chain and operational issues
• Highly analytical, organized, proactive, and motivated
• A positive, can-do attitude is essential along with initiative, superb planning skills, and the ability to anticipate and solve problems before they have the chance to have a negative business impact
